Emphasis is on personalized medical assessment and care by a trained Geriatrics Medicine physician specialist to meet the needs of individuals, their families, and the organizations that serve them with sensitivity, professionalism and respect. The physician specialist sees patients where they live, be it their own house, family home, assisted living center, or nursing facility, because that is the best place to conduct an assessment that incorporates the entire spectrum of biomedical, psychosocial and functional health needs.
